The Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Bison is designed to define a new standard in off-roading capability. This is Chevy’s second AEV collaboration, following the success of the Colorado ZR2 Bison release.

The first-ever Silverado ZR2 Bison redefines the Silverado’s off-road capability with rocker protection, unique skid plates, a custom front bumper, and even more. The Chevy Silverado ZR2 Bison is the ultimate upgrade for off-road and overlanding enthusiasts. 

This half-ton truck is perfect for your adventures, with its underbody protection, off-road suspension, and its front and rear locking differentials. When comparing off-roading stats, the Bison special edition is a step up from the 2022 Silverado ZR2, including an improved front approach angle and departure angle while maintaining its ample 11.2-inch ground clearance. 

 
 
 

A SPECIAL KIND OF OFF-ROAD STRENGTH

The Silverado ZR2 Bison’s rugged exterior is designed for strength on and off the road. The Bison special edition is always ready for your next backcountry excursion, rain or shine. 

Exterior Features
This special edition Silverado will always be recognizable on the road with its AEV stamped steel front and rear bumpers. The Silverado ZR2 Bison is equipped with heavy-duty recovery points and integrated step pads, and it also comes with an available winch accessory designed to fit on the standard front bumper.

The truck is outfitted with five hot-stamped boron steel skid plates, steel rocker panel protection, and gloss black 18-inch AEV wheels coupled with 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires exclusive to this special edition trim.

For suspension, you’ll enjoy finely tuned springs to increase the maximum rear and front suspension. Plus, the truck comes with an exclusive chassis and suspension calibrations designed with different modes for your off-roading needs, making it a standout against the competition.

 
 
 
 

IMPRESSIVE POWER

The Chevy Silverado ZR2 Bison packs the power to take you through the backcountry and the terrain of your choice. The Bison special edition comes standard with a 6.2L V-8 engine equipped with 10-speed automatic transmission, putting out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. 

You can take your truck to another level with the redefined, second-generation 3.0L inline-six turbo-diesel Duramax. Boost your power and torque with the 2023 Duramax turbo-diesel and get a maximum of 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of maximum torque. This improvement from the previous Duramax engine is thanks to:

  • New steel pistons
  • Retuned turbo compressor
  • Improved temperature control features

The Silverado ZR2 Bison’s interior features are just as impressive as its exterior. The Bison model comes with an exclusively designed interior, including a 12.3-inch diagonal driver information center and a 13.4-inch diagonal infotainment touchscreen.
