2024 Chevrolet Colorado Performance Specs
Every Colorado is powered by the same turbocharged, inline-four engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. The entry-level models’ 2.7-liter engine version generates 237 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The upgraded Turbo High-Output engine option cranks out 310 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, ideal for those with a need for speed. This engine pairs perfectly with a direct high-pressure fuel injection system with active fuel management capabilities. When properly equipped, the Colorado’s towing capacity weighs in at 7,700 pounds – a feat for a mid-size pickup truck!
The all-new 2024 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison’s towing capacity falls just short of the rest with a 5,500-pound rating. But what it lacks in towing, it makes up for in traction with a new launch control feature. Available on regular ZR2 trims as well, this feature maximizes grip and provides aggressive acceleration when in Baja Mode.
